Abstract submission for posters presentation

DEADLINE : November 23rd, 2009

The organizing committee decided to organize a poster session to which young researchers are invited to contribute posters related to their investigations in biomarkers related to the following :

• Rare diseases
• Polyfactorial diseases
• Neglected diseases
• New technical tools in Biomarkers

Posters will be displayed under the cloister archways of the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers where breaks and lunch will take place, so that all who attend the conference will have an opportunity to see them.

Poster content

Posters should address a range of themes related to the above topics. The poster session is an opportunity for presenting late-breaking results, ongoing research projects, new speculative or innovative works in progress or descriptions of recently completed work.

Guidelines for poster abstract submission

• Abstracts are to be authored or co-authored
• Brief and clearly organized, containing no more than 300 words under the headings of background/hypothesis, materials and methods, results and conclusions.
• List 3 key words related to your research
• Abstracts should be in English
• Abstracts should be formatted as MS Word document, justified and single-space
• Font : Body text Arial size 12, title text : Bold, centered, size 14

Important dates

• Deadline for submission : Nov 23rd, 2009
• Notification of acceptance : Nov 27th, 2009

Submission will be evaluated for acceptability by the reviewers. The selection will be based on relevance to the topics, to the originality, potential significance, topicality and clarity.

Submission process

Please email your abstract submission as an attachment to seminaire.recherche genopole.fr.

You will receive a confirmation email that your abstract has been well received. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 48 hours, please call Catherine Meignen at +33 (0)1 60 87 83 02.

Poster Guidelines

All posters must fit into a 1,10 m width X 1,50 m height space in portrait layout.

Posters set up and removal

Set up on Thursday, December 10th between 7:30 and 8:45am Remove by 19:00pm

Please note that submitting an abstract does not constitute registration for the conference.
