SEM Genopole manages a part of the biocluster’s real estate.

Its purpose is to develop a real estate offer to accommodate businesses and public and private research entities on the Genopole campus in Evry-Corbeil-Essonnes. SEM Genopole constructs and manages the buildings to be commercialized at the biocluster. It facilitates the establishment of biotech companies in its "hôtels d’entreprises" (buildings designed to accommodate offices and laboratoires), including the possibility of creating or financing necessary equipement.

With its experience, fields of expertise, real estate knowledge, extensive network and sense of mission, SEM Genopole offers gold-standard assistance to life sciences businesses in all aspects of real estate : counseling, analysis, construction, facilities planning and project management.

**A word from the Managing Director, Fabrice Taratte

To meet the development needs of the cluster, the collectivities needed a structure dedicated to real estate development, because this branch of activity requires significant financial outlays for which the return on investment is very long. Thus SEM Genopole, an entity subjected to commercial responsibility and financial balance, was created to shoulder GIP Genopole, which pilots the cluster. As such there are two economic models with complementary missions : the piloting of the cluster and the development of real estate.
