Genopole® Research

Main activities: attracting new laboratories onto the biopark and coordinating and organizing on-campus scientific events; contributing to the development of new academic sectors and the constitution of new joint university-research institute units.
Genopole® offers labs and researchers optimal conditions for moving onto the campus, developing their research work and exploiting the results. Dedicated staff and tools facilitate the arrival of new laboratories. The biopark notably offers (i) highly functional premises that match a group’s needs, (ii) funding for staff training and equipment acquisition, (iii) access to shared infrastructure and (iv) high-quality scientific events.

Thanks to a range of different tools (Genopole® Research Group Establishment Grants (ATIGE grants) Atige, grants for returning French expat researchers, fellowships for foreign researchers, etc.), Genopole® is constantly reinforcing the biopark’s skills and research firepower.

Thanks to pro-active collaboration with the French national research institutes (CEA, CNRS, INRA and INSERM) and the Paris Ile-de-France region’s universities, Genopole® is now a resolutely multidisciplinary, elite research park focused on large-scale biology, in collaboration with the University of Evry-Val d’Essonne.

Genopole® is constantly enriching its research facilities (notably those related to healthcare), which notably include:

• innovative research themes such as stem cells, epigenomics, cell therapy and gene therapy.

• the forthcoming Clinical and Translational Research Center nearby the Southern Ile-de-France Medical Center (Centre Hospitalier Sud Francilien, CHSF).

• the comprehensive life science teaching programs at the University of Evry-Val d’Essonne.

• cutting-edge scientific infrastructure and a constantly expanding pool of companies.
