Team
The Genopole® Research team:
- provides support for labs that move onto the biopark and for fast-growing research programs: stem cells and biotherapies, epigenomics, mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics, biomaterials and large-scale post-genomics (phosphoproteomics, metabolomics, synthetic biology, etc.).
- implements a policy designed to attract high-quality researchers and labs onto the campus.
- contributes to the emergence of tomorrow’s scientific leaders by awarding Genopole® Research Group Establishment Grants (ATIGE grants) and promoting the “reverse brain drain” via grants to returning French expat researchers.
- coordinates and organizes on-campus scientific events: high-level training courses, summer schools, multidisciplinary workshops, seminars, colloquia, clinical research/fundamental research days, etc.
- contributes (in collaboration with the University of Evry-Val-d’Essonne (UEVE) ) to the development and reinforcement of comprehensive educational programs in the life sciences and related disciplines.
- helps plan the UEVE’s future Institute of Biology, which will bring together all the laboratories involved in biology programs within a single building, provide shared access to laboratory equipment and deliver additional, custom lab space.
