The European Office
The Genopole® European Office
The Genopole® European Office was created in 2007 in order to provide the Paris region’s biotech companies with information on participating in European research programs and then support and advise candidate companies.
The European Office can also be accessed by Medicen Paris Region cluster members. It is active on several levels:
- strategic advice (scientific analysis of innovations and identification of the most suitable European programs).
- proposal support (analysis of calls for proposals, proposal drafting support, etc.).
- contract negotiation with the European Commission.
- operational project management.
The European Union’s main initiatives in favor of small businesses are:
The 7th RTD Framework, including the HEALTH and CAPACITIES programs.
Transnational Projects (EuroTransbio, Eurostars, etc.)
The Innovative Medicine Initiative (IMI):

In June 2008, Genopole® and the Medicen Paris Region cluster organized a workshop on “European Union programs as part of your corporate strategy” for the region’s innovative SMEs.
