Thierry Mandon
President of Genopole®
With a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Sociology and after receiving his degree from the Institut d’Études Politiques of Paris in 1987, Thierry Mandon was elected a Deputy of Essonne from 1988 to 1993. A consultant in a strategy and human resources consulting group from 1993 to 1995, he was elected Mayor of Ris-Orangis in June of 1995.
In 1994, he became Departmental Councilor of the Ris-Orange Canton and was involved in managing departmental-wide issues as First Vice-President of the General Council of Essonne in charge of Finance and Economic Action from May 1998 to March 2001.
Thierry Mandon is President of the Genopole® Public Interest Group, Vice-President of the General Council of Essonne in charge of Economic Development, Major Projects and Employment, and President of the Essonne Economic Agency.
