In the spring of 2014, the IMT (Institut des Métiers et des Technologies) opened a working conditions-based training facility at Genopole to prepare people for careers in biotech and drug bioproduction. On 27 March 2019 at the general meeting of GIP* Genopole, the 12 representatives and founding members comprising the Administrative Council elected Stéphane Beaudet as president and Marianne Duranton as vice-president of Genopole.
