  • GenMed

The Laboratory of Excellence in Medical Genomics, GENMED, aims to promote the development of competitive research projects in human diseases both nationally and internationally. Thus, GENMED evaluates, develops and implements, in a high throughput production context, next generation technologies and methodologies combined with integrated genomic data analysis.

  • France Génomique

FRANCE GENOMIQUE infrastructure brings together the capacities and expertise of the main French genomic and bioinformatics platforms.
France Génomique provides researchers from both academia and industry with access to the most advanced technology platforms in France, together with advice and support for their projects, expertise of the highest level and a multidisciplinary network of skills, as well as the opportunity to participate in ambitious projects at national and international level.

  • CEA

The Institute François JACOB of the CEA consists of 2 internationally reputed genomic platforms : Genoscope and the CNRGH, created in Evry at the end of the 1990s. As was the case for Genoscope and the CNRGH from the outset, the mission of the IG is to ensure, for the benefit of the national scientific community, massive production, processing and analysis of genomic data (sequencing or genotyping) in the context of cooperative programs and its own projects.

  • IFB

The French Institute of Bioinformatics (referred to as IFB hereafter) is a national service infrastructure in bioinformatics that was created following the call for proposals, “National Infrastructures in Biology and Health”, of the “Investments for the Future” initiative (ANR-11-INBS-0013). IFB’s principal mission is to provide basic services and resources in bioinformatics for scientists and engineers working in the life sciences. IFB is the French node of the European research infrastructure, ELIXIR.

  • UEVE

The University of Evry-Val d’Essonne is recognized for its research activities focused mainly on the field of genomics/post genomics and its application in healthcare and the environment. The UEVE biology department counts eleven research teams, most of which are mixed entities with the CNRS, Inserm, INRA and/or the CEA. Among their fields of research are bioinformatics, biomaterials, and modeling and mathematics as applied to biology.

  • Université Paris-Saclay - Investissement d’avenir

Université Paris-Saclay offers undergrad, graduate and postgraduate students, as well as engineers and researchers, a selection of summer schools and short training programmes in a range of thematic fields.
These programmes are open to audiences from Université Paris-Saclay but also from universities throughout France and abroad.
In 2019, over a dozen programmes are offered in a variety of scientific fields, four of which were selected by the prestigious Ecoles d’été France Excellence programme of the French Embassy in China, in aeronautics, nanotechnology, genomics and arctic studies.

  • INRA

French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) is Europe’s top agricultural research institute and the world’s number two centre for the agricultural sciences. Its scientists are working towards solutions for society’s major challenges.

  • CNRS

The National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), is a public organization under the responsibility of the French Ministry of Education and Research. As the largest fundamental research organization in Europe, the CNRS carries out research in all fields of knowledge, through its ten institutes
