Genopole, France’s leading biocluster, is organizing the seventh edition of its competition for biotech start-ups in the environmental, food & agriculture and/or industrial sectors (excluding the medical sector).
The objective of the Genopole Young Biotech Award is to discover innovative projects or young businesses in biotechnologies and develop them at the biopark. The competition is held under the auspices of the French Ministries for Higher Learning & Research, for the Economy, and for the Environment.
Who can apply ?
The competition is intended for project holders or heads of young businesses (less than two years old) looking to develop an innovation in these sectors.
The laureate(s) will receive grants and/or services to aid the launch of activities or the pursuit of project development.
Genopole’s ambition is to empower the emergence of biotech innovation and in so doing contribute to the development of business sectors and the renewal of industry in France. Genopole is also focused on growing the biocluster and welcoming an increasing number of businesses every year, a goal to which the competition contributes.
