Tuesday April 28, during a ceremony at the Elysee Palace, Généthon, the laboratory of the AFM-Telethon, was named recipient of the Global Innovation Competition 2030 in the category "Risk lift." A clinical trial of gene therapy has been conducted by Genethon* in France and in Great Britain and treated 7 children suffering from the Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome. Preliminary results published this week in JAMA are extremely encouraging.
